This is a series about children on the Autism spectrum in Oklahoma losing their insurance coverage.
The first story not only saved these families’ insurance coverage for the year, it helped prompt the bi-partisan movement to draft legislation on the issue. This series earned an award with TARC ( Tulsa Advocates for the rights of citizens with Developmental Disabilities) naming me as a “media advocate” for children with disabilities.
